Recommended Titles and Treatises

April 22, 2013

Feature

With so many areas of law – family law, criminal law, immigration law, etc. – it can be difficult to begin your research at a law library. How can you know which legal publication is considered to be an authority in a specific area of law?

To help you navigate the many legal treatises and publications that are available, we maintain a list of recommended titles and treatises so that members of the judiciary and the general public can have a starting point in their legal research. We highlight noteworthy and authoritative legal titles and arrange these by subject matter for ease of use. You can also perform keyword searches for titles if you aren’t sure which area of law your research falls under.

We hope this tool can help you locate a title, but feel free to contact us at (512) 463-1722 or via our Ask a Librarian service if you have any questions.
