KIC Scanner Now Available

Feature
The library is excited to announce that we have a KIC scanner available for public use! The KIC scanner has a document feeder as well as a face-up scanning bed allowing patrons to scan a variety of materials. Once the pages have been scanned, it is possible to crop and rotate the scan, adjust contrast and brightness, change the resolution, and change from color to grayscale to black and white.
Patrons can save a scan in a variety of formats including as a searchable .pdf, .jpeg, .png, rich text file, or as an audio file. These files can then be saved to a flash drive, e-mailed, uploaded to Google Drive, or transferred to a smartphone or tablet using a QR code.
The KIC scanner is easy to use. Contact us at (512) 463-1722 or submit a question using our Ask a Librarian service for more information.
