Continuing Legal Education Materials

The Texas State Law Library receives continuing legal education (CLE) materials from the State Bar of Texas. These courses allow attorneys to earn CLE credit, which is required by the Bar. Below you'll find a listing of some of our CLE materials arranged by subject matter. Most of these materials circulate for a period of 3 weeks.

You can also search through the text of our CLE collection's tables of content to locate a specific course or seminar.

We may have older editions of a CLE course that are not listed here in our archives. You can search for older editions using the library catalog. If you have questions about these materials, please Ask a Librarian.

This Texas Bar CLE publication is intended to teach attorneys “how to listen like accountants and financial analysts” to best serve clients. The intent is that by learning how to assess a client’s financial situation and goals, attorneys can then leverage the information in negotiations and litigation. Topics include discussion on how to understand financial statements, the formulation of successful inquiries and effective communication with business and financial colleagues. Recommended for practicing attorneys in all areas.
