Environmental issues in business transactions
This title covers both the federal and state environmental regulatory programs affecting businesses as well as commercial transactions. Provides practical information on the impact of these requirements. The focal point is providing transactional lawyers information and tools that they can use to identify, evaluate, and address environmental issues. Chapters 1 and 2 explain some of the technical issues commonly found in environmental law. Other topics discussed include CERCLA, RCRA, the Clean Water Act and environmental due diligence. Also included are a CD-ROM, which can be requested at the reference desk, and a table of cases.
