Recommended Titles and Treatises
To help provide access to the Texas State Law Library's legal resources, the reference librarians have selected the most noteworthy titles in our collection and arranged them here by subject. The titles listed for each subject feature a brief summary written by a reference librarian, and each subject's titles are divided into those that are specific to Texas law and those that aren't.

Texas pattern jury charges: oil and gas
The assistance that this excellent resource offers extends beyond providing definitions, instructions, and questions useful for drafting charges in your jury trials. Many practitioners find it very helpful in preparing findings of fact and conclusions of law in nonjury cases and in identifying issues and evidence requirements in oil and gas cases generally. Comments provide a ready reference to the source of each charge and instructions on when to use it. Charges include adverse possession, improper use of real property, issues between lessor and lessee, executive rights, and more. - from the publisher
