The Texas State Law Library reference librarians created legal research guides for specific areas of the law. These guides contain resources that can help you research a legal issue.

The library's guide on small claims court provides links to the Texas statutes and rules that govern these courts as well as "plain English" explanations on how to file in small claims court. The guide also provides an easy-to-access list of library materials that would be useful for practitioners as well as resources more geared towards pro se litigants.
