Landlord/Tenant Law: A Legal Research Guide

July 8, 2013

Feature

The Texas State Law Library reference librarians created legal research guides for specific areas of the law. These guides contain resources that can help you research a legal issue.

The library's guide to landlord/tenant law provides links to the Texas statutes that govern residential tenancies as well as "plain English" explanations of landlord/tenant law in Texas. Specific sections provide information about tenants’ rights, eviction, and the various tenant organizations in Texas. The guide also provides an easy-to-access list of library materials that would be useful for practitioners as well as resources more geared towards pro se litigants.

Apart from our Landord/Tenant law guide, we also invite you to view all of our legal research guides. Please contact us at (512) 463-1722 or submit a question via our Ask a Librarian service for more information.
