Child Custody and Support: A Legal Research Guide

January 20, 2014

Feature

The reference librarians created legal research guides for specific areas of the law. These guides contain resources that can help you research a legal issue.

The library's guide on child custody and support provides an overview of the resources available in the library and online pertaining to child custody, support, and visitation including Texas and federal laws. It also contains links to forms for modification, suits affecting the parent-child relationship, and a range of legal forms from Texas Access for non-custodial parents. These forms are provided as a courtesy by organizations and are not legal advice. The guide also provides links to information written in “plain English,” which can be easier to understand than legal language.
