1984 Historical Texas Statutes are online!
October 23, 2017
Feature
The 1984 historical statutes are now available on our website! The digitization of these 27 volumes also brings an end to the State Law Library's historical statutes digitization project. We are excited to announce that a complete run of the printed Texas statutes (from 1879 through 1984) is now accessible to anyone needing to do legal research from home.
Remember, all of our digitized historical statutes can be read in your browser or viewed/downloaded as a PDF. All volumes are searchable in both formats and each PDF includes a bookmarked table of contents.
Special thanks to:
- The Texas Bar Foundation for funding the digitization of the 1968-1984 volumes.
- The Austin Bar Foundation and the Litigation Section of the State Bar of Texas for funding the digitization of previous volumes.
- Thomson Reuters, current copyright holders of the printed Texas statutes, for allowing us to provide access to this valuable resource.
