Introducing Remote Access to Select Library Databases

August 26, 2013

Feature

Whether you’re researching case law or looking for “plain English” legal resources, you can access many of our library databases at home or from the office. All current library card holders may access the Aspen Treatise Libraries, the Legal Information Reference Center, LoisLaw, and the TexShare databases. If you are inside the library and are using our Wi-Fi, you can also access HeinOnline.

If you are a Texas resident but are unable to visit the library in person, you may apply for a card online. Library cards obtained via our online patron registration form will grant you remote access for 6 months. Simply complete the application and, if approved, we’ll email you a library card number within one business day. You can also renew your card remotely if it has expired.

Contact us at (512) 463-1722 or submit a question using our Ask a Librarian service for more information.
