Library Account Renewal
Patrons whose accounts are in good standing can request to renew their library accounts online. A library account can be renewed after it has expired or up to 30 days before its expiration date. You are welcome to submit a renewal request once you see a notification in your online account about a pending expiration or an expired account.
If there are no issues with your renewal request, we will contact you at the e-mail address you provide within one business day to verify that your account has been renewed — please note that account renewals are not automatic and must be processed manually by library staff during business hours. Also note that if you had previously registered in person and you submit an online renewal with contact information that differs from your in-person registration, you will need to fill out a new borrower registration form with your updated contact information the next time you visit the library before you can borrow library books.
If the library has a borrower registration form signed by you on file, your library account will be renewed for another year. Otherwise, your account will be renewed for an additional 6 months.
Note: as part of the online renewal process, we ask that you please first fill out our patron satisfaction survey so that we can assess how we're doing. Once you complete the brief 10-question survey, you will be re-directed to the online renewal form.
