Coming soon, we’ll be expanding our Ask a Librarian service with a convenient text messaging option. This feature will make it even easier to get answers to your legal research questions. Simply text us any time, and a librarian will respond during business hours. 

Text a Librarian will complement our existing services. You’ll still be able to reach us by phone, e-mail, or in person, depending on what works best for you. Once the service launches, our Ask a Librarian page will have instructions on how to submit your questions by text.

Great news! Our library has been awarded a generous grant from the Texas Bar Foundation to develop the Texas Legal Oasis Project. 

The project will create a free online training course for public librarians, giving them the tools and confidence to help community members find reliable legal information.
