New Services from the State Law Library

April 7, 2020

Feature

The library is excited to offer two new services to better assist our patrons while we are closed to the public: chat reference assistance and remote access to Lexis Advance!

Chat reference assistance is available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. During these hours, reference librarians are available online to help locate legal information, identify relevant resources, and develop search strategies.

The LexisNexis State and Local Government team is offering temporary IDs that will provide our library patrons with remote access to Lexis Advance. This access includes: all state and federal case law, statutes, regulations, and rules; all state law reviews; briefs, pleadings, and motions; and company and financial information. The IDs will allow access for 30 days or until May 31st, whichever is shorter.

Remember, if you have questions about either of these services please don't hesitate to call us at (512) 463-1722 or 1-844-829-2843!
